The training path in the GTRD®
The large animal rescue service CH / FL works closely with the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Zurich, where the large animal rescuers are trained by qualified specialists in all important first aid and medical emergency measures.

In order to be able to carry out high-quality rescues at a professional level, we complete the training for
Large animal rescue worker GTRD® / VSFUZH, for large animal rescue technician GTRD® / VSFUZH and for large animal rescue worker GTRD® / VSFUZH
Our training is structured and structured in modules. Each module ends with an exam. The training lasts several years, as we do not complete it professionally but in our free time .
Please note: participation in the GTRD ® is on a voluntary basis in the militia system
